So, what do you want to be done." Alexandra smiled has an officer gave her a belt and a phaser. Alexandra and Rofellian look at the floor plans where Lt. Comdr Wilson was showing. "These are our potential exits for the commodore," John stated moving his hand. "I suggest if the Cochrane activates a full scan at a minimum gap interval so if he does get off we can get him. Also we Captain shall begin to sweep through the corridors with a security detail deck by deck to locate him. If your ok with that Sir?" John stated turning to Vladek. "It sounds good to me!" (Reply Vladek) "Right Sirs, ill begin the shutting down of the scrubbers and order the security details to begin taking positions at the junction points however we still have too much area and not enough troops hence the sweeping group. Our one Captain," John stated to Captain Lowell. "Yes, sending instruction to the Cochrane security. They have started and comfirm, but nothing yet. They will keep in touch with your security. Security status comfirmed, weapons lockers are secured." "Right, Captain Lowell shall we?" "Yes... of course." As they began to move out of operations a 4-man security team appeared through the turbo lift. As the yellow shirted men clicked to attention John smiled and moved his fingers signalling for a phaser rifle. Rolling his eyes the guard passed over his rifle and pulled one off the bridge guards. Alexandra wanted to laugh at the reaction of the security guard, how many times it happen to her. "Right gentlemen, only fire if fired upon and only stunning I don't want a corpse on our hands! Now move out!" John stated, clicking back the rifle clip activating the power coils. (Starbase Geneva - Deck 5 - 00:45) Alexandra was enjoying this, it felt like it was a long time since she did this and she was aware that she might have angered Blackford and if he was armed, which was 99% certain it could get ugly. The light in one hand and the phaser in the other, her tricorder working for detecting any type of isotopes to be one step ahead from Blackford. Then Lt. Comdr Wilson arrive at her level. "Captain, we can't run around the station all day. He killed Pitt over what he knew so what if we used that to our advantage." Alexandra stop but signal 2 officers to continue. She faced the First officer. "Well, he has training so no doubt he will be listening to our coms attempting to stay one step ahead. So what if we put a message requiring security teams to the medical bay to protect Pitt. Obviously if he wants Pitt dead he will no doubt move out just to take him out. What do you think? A classic I know!" "I must admit that I moved fast on Pitt and Blackford ran away he might not be sure about the health status of Pitt. It just might work but who will play Pitt." It just might work but who will play Pitt." “We would not actually need a pitt though. If we make a call for more security then obviously the commodore will go just to check if it is true and there will be our chance,” "It might work that way. But we will have to play it close. We better go talk to Captain Rofellian we can't use the comm." It was the best idea since he would no doubt be listening to the com. John was about to move back towards operations when his com activated. =/\= Rofellian to Wilson, how's your situation Number One? I've just received several reports from our security team and still no traces of Blackford. =/\= “Mine and Captain Lowell’s team have discovered nothing yet sir,” John stated not wanting to give away too much. =/\=I've just remembered something I had studied at the Academy, Captain Lowell had certainly heard it too. Captain Lowell stated by his side, John tilted his head to look at her. “Right Captain, we will begin to search the lower levels. However I suggest we increase the security around Pitt. Blackford is properly more interested in getting out than securing him. He will have some answers,” John stated not wanting to give away too much information about the trap he was setting,” =^= Hum, yes it could work, anyway we haven't anything to loose, I just hope he will swallow the bait. I'm sending right away several security officers to secure sickbay. =^= "You have to make a general message and we will be ready... Lowell out!" John smiled. “Captain if he is listening he already knows that Pitt is alive even though he isn’t!” (Reply Lowell) “I think we should sweep the Jeffries and eps conduits near the sickbay. In case he is planting explosives or something of that sort,” (Reply Lowell) (Starbase Geneva – Sickbay – FO – Lt.Cmdr John Wilson – 00:55) John looked around the corner of the corridor, the was two security officers standing in front of the door. Their hands by their sides unmoving, John swung his head back around to look at Lowell. Raising his eyebrow he spoke, softly to not draw attention to it. “I don’t recognise those security guards!” John stated looking down at his phaser rifle and checking the green power reading. John stated looking down at his phaser rifle and checking the green power reading. "So... we have a small little problem of under estimating Blackford... he did came alone." Alexandra did the same to size those 2 up. Her scan revealed that they were strong and under a nice adrenaline rush. She return to her hidding spot. "Well I agree it would make sense that Blackford had more than one cohort." "I was more or less sure that he had even if this situation was more likely, need less then more." "How are we going to play this Captain?" Alexandra gave him a corner smile, totally malicious yet with a glint of an idea behind that gaze. "Tell me... On this level is there a transporter?" (Reply Wilson any) (Posted By Laurence Durand) Stardate:2406.07.02 Mission: Opportunities of Engagements/For are Sins, Day 6 Stardate: 2406.07.02 (Starbase Geneva - Sickbay – CO & FO – Captain Alexandra Lowell & Lt.Cmdr John Wilson - 00:55) "What do you have planned Captain Lowell?" John asked intrigued at the Captain's idea about the transporters. "Well, transporter those charming individual and lock them in behind a force field in the transporter or luck them in the brig. You have the choice." "Well I think Captain Rofellian will string me up for any locked people in the transporter room. Since we don’t know how many collaborators are involved I think the brig will be the best idea. I think a two prong attack, if I order the security team to seal off the area and then activate the transporters and we can breach if you want?" "It seem that we have a game plan Commander. Let's get to it! Don't take it the wrong way... but I'm having fun!" She smiled and followed Wilson. John did little but raise an eyebrow and smile. He would not admit it but he too enjoyed events like this, it was the rush before the fight and the calm relaxation afterwards. "Right Captain, shall we?" John stated moving his hand in the direction of the corridor. Signalling to the security detachment they moved off and John then pulled his rifle against his shoulder and checked the power reading once more. It was a nerves thing to continue to check the power. With in a few seconds John's badge chipped twice, it was the signal he had established for the all clear ready to go. "Right Captain, what do you want to do stun all in there for the chance of hostiles or wait for hostile intent. If we do have a mass fire fight we may have allot of casualties," Alexandra look at Wilson, she understood just too well that gaze. "Okay, there's just one way of doing this and it's the old fashion way." Alexandra took off her tunic the only thing under was her sleeveless t-shirt; she shook off her hair to give them a bit of volume. "How do I look?" John smiled it wasn’t a move he had expected from a Captain and one he had never witnessed before. It took him off guard to a certain degree. "Damn fine, im guessing I had permission to speak freely," Alexandra chuckled. "Yes you did and if Tahl discovers what I have done, he will not be happy with me." She took a deep breath. "I will walk pass them, hopefully they will turn and you stun those 2 officers. Simple!" "Of course Captain, it always starts that way and this is where I like Vulcan’s I really need to learn that neck thing," John stated smiling and raising his rifle. "Here goes nothing." Alexandra turned the corner and walk toward the 2 men. She slowly did that and she knew that she attracted their attention. She bended over to arrange the bottom of her pant legs and smile to them has she slowly pass by she said. "They always get stuck in my shoes." "It happens! but you...” Alexandra turn hearing 2 shots behind. John smiled at the captain using the male weakness for a woman bending over and snuck around the corner. Moving slowly John raised the rifle and with the two guards behind him took aim. He smiled to himself some times it was too easy. Looking up at the guards they were still smiling and looking at the Captain. John moved up and tapped the closed guard on the shoulder. As the larger man turned around to look at him John smiled and then swung the rifle butt into his head. Making him fall to the ground, the guards fired another shot into the chest of the other guard making him fall to the ground in a heap. Turning to Captain Lowell John spoke still grinning at the Captain. "Good work Captain, I think that should go down at the Lowell manovier," "Good work yourself Commander. Now step 2, getting inside." John smiled and signalled for the security officer to move up. Handing John the small device John winked and grinned. "Ensign drag those two to the other teams and then standard breach positions," John then moved to the doors and began to connect the breeching charge to the door. "I like catching people off guard," John stated winking and then moving with the trigger to the other side of the door. Alexandra put back on her tunic feeling a bit exposed at the moment. She took her phaser and look at the setting. It was on stun. "I'm ready when you are!" John looked at the captain and then the two security guards at the opposite side of the door. John raised three fingers and then began to count them down and then turned back to the Captain. "Captain, id covers your ears!" John stated. Alexandra turn and covered her ears waiting for the blast. John pressed the activation for the explosive and with in seconds of dropping it to the ground the door blew down. John immediately stepped into the room pointing the rifle at shoulder height. Looking at the stunned faces John began to yell at the top of his lungs. "DOWN DOWN ON THE GROUND NOW!" the medical officers were on the floor with in seconds. As John looked at Kaitlyn a security officer drew his weapon and began to come out of the office. John pointed his rifle in the direction of the office and waited for a clear shot. The two guards had already moved off and began to sweep the room. John held his breath awaiting the guard to come out as he did he herd the fire from the other side of the bay. Alexandra walk in behind. "It's over, drop it right now! Show yourself." John heard the Captains voice and as the guard came out of the office he took a shot at John's position. John dropped to his knees and aimed his rifle and fired. The blast flew from the barrel of the rifle and struck the guard sending his flying into the wall. As John rose from his feet the two security guards limped back into the main section. "Capelin, O’Malley?" John stated looking at the two. Smiling they signalled ok. "All clear sir, two hostiles down," John then turned to Lowell. "Blackford?" Alexandra continued a bit more inside and was beside Wilson has she looked at everyone in the room. "I'm scanning, for now nothing then the people in this room, but he could have slip. Could he? Behind us!" John raised an eyebrow and span behind to look at the now open door. Training his rifle on the position he saw an open door with a scared looking security guard. "Commander Wilson, sir," The guard stated, John smiled and signalled for the weapons to be lowered. " I think he didn’t come in person I think he sent his lackeys," "So he ordered them from elsewhere, and he wouldn't have use the comm so he talk to them in person. Take those one who are valid and interrogate them. We have to know... " She look at Wilson. "We have missed! He is not here and he is probably far from this area." John bit his tongue and looked at Captain Lowell, he didn’t much like Pitt and the fact he was a traitor made it worse however he hated Blackford and wanted to get him. "Well Captain I get security to secure these people and to organize further searches. I don’t know about you but I could do with a drink?" John stated feeling ready to give up on Blackford once and for all. John turned to the additional team that entered sick bay. putting his rifle on the shoulder strap. John looked at the team. "Secure any downed hostiles, only myself, Captain Rofellian, Captain Lowell have access with out our approval," Turning back to the Captain John looked and smiled. "I owe you a drink shall we?" (Reply Any) (Posted By Richard & Laurence) Stardate:2406.07.02 Mission: For Our Sins/Opportunities of Engagement. Mission Day 6 Stardate 2406.07.02 (Starbase Geneva- Jeffries Tube 175, Junction 12D- Commodore Blackford-0107) Blackford lay on his back watching the small screen in his hand. He gave a low chuckle. Had they really believed he was that stupid to fall for such an obvious trap. He had not gotten to where he was as Sector JAG by being a fool. First of all he knew that his aim had been true, and his phaser was set at a high enough level to ensure Pitt's death. Granted, it was possible, no matte how unlikely, that Pitt had somehow survived. And so he had managed to convince a couple of loyalists to ensure what he had already known. These men were expendable, although, where they were going, he was going to need as many alies as he could find. He was fairly confident though, that he would find others that were equally uncertain as to their loyalty to LaDona and his acursed vision. Damn, the man had more lives than a cat. Still, Blackford had been given his mission, and he would not return until it had been complete. He was to restore federation unity, by any means necessary. He knew that it would recquire more than the death of LaDona, but also the death of his vision. These fools would be expecting him to run for his life. He had already proven himself capable of murder. It was, again, necessary. Pitt knew too much, and was not strong enough to keep the knowledge safe. Command would only be safe at his death. Yes, they would expect hm to run, but he would not. He would stay, and do what he could to undermine the SOB LaDona. Everywhere they could turn, every possible thing that could go wrong, will go wrong, and all by Blackford's design. Then one day, someone else is going to say, LaDona was wrong. This split was a mistake. We need to reuify the federation. That is when Blackford will resurface, to claim his reward. With that warm thought he turned off the view screen watching the activity from the hidden camera in sickbay. He lay in close to the EPS conduit, knowing that it would mask his life signs. They would have to search every square in of the Jefferies tubes to find him. Such a search would take days. Time that they did not have. Comforted in the fact that he was safe for the moment, he closed his eyes and rested.
